Dr. Paul A. Veld,  O.D.       

Dr. Veld is a graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan. He went on to the Illinois College of Optometry earning his Doctor of Optometry in May of 1989. In 2013 he was certified by the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Veld opened his practice in March of 1990. He is an affiliate of TLC Laser Centers and Kraff Eye Institute. 

Patient's enjoy seeing Dr. Veld's Chicago Blackhawks memorabilia collection lining the practice halls. Veld Vision Center is honored to support the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation.

Alysa

office manager

Alysa is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and is Dr. Veld's oldest daughter. Alysa will ensure that you have the best possible experience at Veld Vision Center, and is eager to answer any questions that you may have regarding your visit. When not in the office, Alysa loves spending time with her husband and her baby boy, Laken Paul, who was born in March of 2024.

You will often speak with Erika when you call our office, and she is always ready to answer any questions that you have. She will always make you feel right at home with her warm and comforting personality. With her many years of experience in an office setting, Erika helps keep Veld Vision organized and running smoothly. ​

Mara has been with Veld Vision Center since 2004. Her many years of loyalty and experience have provided us with stability and knowledge. Mara is responsible for filing insurance claims, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Chloe creates a bright atmosphere here at Veld Vision with her fun and vibrant personality. She always goes above and beyond to assist with any and all office duties. From greeting you upon arrival, to helping you select the perfect frame, Chloe will be there to make you feel welcome during your visit. 

Elizabeth

OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN

​Elizabeth recently joined Veld Vision as our optometric technician. Elizabeth will kindly assist you with preliminary testing before you see Dr. Veld, as well as any further testing that you may need. She will always communicate your examination and testing results with you in a timely and professional manner.
